Liberty Love!

So did you all have a good Easter holiday?

We had wonderful weather here, and that drew me away from the sewing machine and into the garden.

But there has been some sewing this week.

A few more blocks for Siblings Together ...

... and progress on my Liberty Tunic.



I'm using the same simple pattern than I used for my first tunic, except this time, a more summery version using the liberty fabric I picked up several years ago in a vintage shop in Whitney!

In essence it is finished, but my feeling is it needs a little more ......... finishing!!

Buttons, lace, trim, pockets?  I put the word out on IG and got great feedback (thank you peeps).  I love pockets on dresses so I might add 2 patch pockets, with crochet trim and take it from there!

I need to remember that less is more, right!

Well I have 1 more week off work, and with the kids back to school tomorrow, hopefully that will mean productive sewing time!

Block Central!!

When hearts are heavy and life feels like wading through treacle sometimes, it's always good to make stuff!

It's been Block Central in my sewing room this week.

Etsy have decided to absorb the new EU VAT changes which means I can continue to sell my patterns as instantly downloadable PDFs again!  I have changed them all back to digital files, so purchases from now on will be instant on confirmation of payment. Woohoo!
