No pics of the finished projects yet, as the ladies have to wash their cushions and blankets at home to get them all lovely and fluffy!
But here is another sample for you to see!
This is my new bath mat. I experimented with a bath towel on the back and it came up lovely!
I would also like to make a smaller version of these as baby changing mats, with handy little Velcro roll up tabs.
It's so nice not having to walk on cold tiles now!
Have a great weekend!
(If anyone knows why my pics become washed out when uploading from Picassa to Flickr please let me know. They look bright and sharp in Picassa!)

Love your bathmat and the "suggestion" of the pattern beneath the chenilling. Looks so snuggly for your pretty toes!
ReplyDeleteThis is a great idea for a bath mat. Although not sure I could do all the chenille work
ReplyDeletebeautiful way to use this project xx
ReplyDeleteit does look so snuggly and squishy, just perfect!
ReplyDeletewhat a good idea, like you I struggle with tiled floors, would never choose them again. Also seeing this rug reminds me I bought the special tool for slashing chenille, now I wonder where it is, it has never come out of the packet!
ReplyDeleteIt looks so warm! I love the colours
ReplyDeleteOooh, lovely looking bathmat! Alas, can't afford tile floors to let you know, lino is a tad more forgiving!
ReplyDeletewhat a great idea to use the towel for backing.
ReplyDeleteYour chenille looks amazing. I'm with Sarah, love the pattern underneath!! Can't shed any light on the photo upload. I use Pic Monkey and I don't have any issue if I save as a medium setting. I would be interested to hear if you find out? Have a great day .........Marie x
