FQR 2012 - The Quilts

As a member of Brit Bee, I get the privilege of contributing to the quilts of 11 other lovely ladies.

Some of these lovely ladies brought their finished Bee quilts to the Retreat, so that we could get up close and personal with something we've only seen online up to now!

Sarah's amazing beast!

Susan's drunkard's path (there's a wee Susie in there somewhere!)

There she is!

Judith's red & white Oakshott quilt

LJ's Star Quilt, which recently won first prize for best Bee quilt in the recent Bloggers Quilt Festival!

Project 51 - a very special quilt made for a very special person and a very special reason.

The back of Project 51

The Brit Bee gals, including LJ this time!
I'm also in another online bee called Sew Bee Happy. This one is international, but I was able to meet with some of the members of this bee at retreat.

Here we are with the quilt Cindy made with the stargazing blocks the bee made for her.

L-R: Nicky, Trudi (not a bee member but she long arm quilted it), Kat, Me, Cindy
There were also some fabulous quilt tops made at the retreat as part of the Iron Man Challenge and Jelly Roll Challenge.  You can see some of them here.

Before I sign off FQR post no.2, I'm delighted to tell you that Terri is now blogging once again!  Yippee!

Pop on over to MishMashMama and say hi!
