Friends! Romans! Blinds?

Today I was hosting my first Roman Blind workshop, with guest tutor Heather.

You definitely need your brain running at optimum capacity for the initial measuring stages, and other parts of the body come in handy too!

  3. They look wonderful! Having remade one (I replaced the fabric) I can safely say I need a workshop on how to do it properly...and it looks like making one from scratch is a lot faster than cobbling one together from an old curtain and an old Roman blind!

  10. It looks like fun! I have a window that could use a roman blind, but I don't feel yet ready to try to make one.

  18. I agree with Ruth, it was a great fun day and I'm delighted with my half-a-blind. Now to get it finished. I do love learning new skills - the woodwork lesson will definitely come in handy!

  21. Hi Judith, just wanted to let you know that for some reason all the emails I send to you responding to your comments on my blog return to me as undeliverable. I'm trying to sort it out, I just wanted to let you know so you know I'm not ignoring you. Have a lovely day.
