More Exciting News!
As if it wasn't exciting enough getting this award, I also found out this morning that I've won a charm pack from Lesly at Pickeldish.
To win I had to comment on what my favourite pre 1960 film is - I said 'Cat on a hot tin roof (ooooh Paul Newman, drule) & I like Calamity Jane too. Grease is also up there but think it's post 1960!
Many thanks Lesly - can't wait til Mr Postie comes calling!
Thank you for considering my bog stylish - it's not an adjective I'm used to having connection with! Congrats on the excitement of winning - think how much fun you'll have thinking up a project for the charms.
ReplyDeletePS That first comment should read 'blog', though come to think of it my 'bog' is reasonably stylish too!
ReplyDeleteOoooo you said "the word" ....Grease and yes that is post 1960s. This is my all-time favorite movie and it came out in 1978. I am pathetic in that I can say every line of the movie along with the move and know all the words to every song. It is a shame. Any one who knows me refuses to watch the movie with me. I love to catch some poor unsuspecting soul in the living room when it comes on. They look at me as though I am insane. I love am crazy about that movie.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for the award!! *grins* As a side note, my favourite film EVER is "the Graduate" which is totally 60's!!
ReplyDeleteHey, how did I manage to forget to thank you for this award - shame on me, suddenly remembered it as I was driving home just now! Thank you so much and now I'm off to see those of the other bloggers you listed that I don't already know :-)
