As usual, I've been creating more scraps than I've been using!! Like the magic porridge pot, they just seem to grow when I'm not looking!!
I guess just using teeny weeny 1.5" squares isn't going to make much of a dent either (yes I keep even the smallest scraps)!
I love making portholes! And I love making notebook covers too! Winning combo!
And I made another notebook cover made from donated sample book scraps!

ReplyDeletethese are such pretties. I've put my foot down and my scraps have to be at least 2.5" or they get tossed. I do make exceptions, though :)

ReplyDeleteYou really must keep all your tiny scraps! This is really sweet. I was thinking this week about teabag wallets as Christmas presents and so looked up a few tutorials, this morning I sat down and made 6 as a start on small presents for friends and teachers. I found I got bored after a while on the production line so will make more another day as they are my Christmas gift of choice this year. I had a quick look back at your monthly Gallery pictures because I remember you making some for your sister's shop last year and had a quick compare, I used ribbon instead of the stretchy fastener because someone said it was hard to sew through They still look pretty good though. x
