Easily Led!

I couldn't resist running up a few of the lastest fad!

Economy Blocks

These are economy blocks, which I am making into a secret project! And here are a few more!

Economy blocks

The finished squares are 4", smaller than the ones being made around blogland at the moment.

And most of the fussy cuts are relevant(ish) to the person who will eventually be receiving this!

In truth, I'm making this project up as I go along (nothing new there then!).  So fingers crossed it all turns out ok, without tears being shed!

  8. J, they look super! I have been dragging my feet as I think a whole grouping of these blocks is overwhelming, but your sashing 4 together looks fantastic! You make me want to make cushion covers.

  9. Looks great! Love the dancing chicken. I am adding to my collection of economy blocks, still not sure I'm loving the whole thing together, but I like the look of everyone else's, so I'm hoping mine will all work out in the end.

  10. these are lovely, though not sure what economy squares are. Squares featuring a small amount of different fabrics in each square I presume? Yours are nice and cheerful.

  11. So nice and neat corners! Economy block is allready on my must-try list, but I feel the measurements are a little bit intidimating. Being metric also does seem as a liability in quilting.
I like Your choice of print and colour on those blocks. Especially the sewing dictionary print is nice.
