The patterns have full colour, step by step photos and come with shape & letter templates and guides on Satin Stitch and Free Motion (Raw Edge) applique.

It was great! I may get no sewing done this weekend as I'm just going to sit stroking my lovely cushion. There's a great sense of achievement from learning something new.
