It's the first of the month, again!

If you are a regular (& treasured) visitor to this blog, you'll know that Lily's Quilts hosts a Fresh Sewing Day round up of the previous month's slog work.

Here is what I managed to complete during the month of June:

When I created this mosaic, I was disappointed that it didn't seem to reflect that much in the way of projects.  However there are a lot of WIPs that I have been working hard on that are not included in this mosaic (I like my monthly mosaics to show completed works, with the Brit blocks being the one exception).

One of my favourites from last month was the Grosgrain handbag I made for my daughter's teacher.  School finished yesterday, and the handbag was presented and received with delight! Phew!

  3. Love that batik block! Everything looks wonderful. Our schools keep our kids through the nice weather and wait until it starts to get crap again before they release them. Three more weeks to go.
