I'm so excited to be able to host a wonderful giveaway, thanks to River Fabrics.
Yesterday I spent a lovely morning with Janette from River Fabrics, an online fabric shop. Janette is a very down to earth mum, passionate about quilting and yummy fabrics. She has been running River Fabrics for over a year now, and working v.hard to make this small business work.
I hadn't realised how hard it is for UK fabric shop owners to make a business from selling fabric. In the US, shop owners can buy fabrics directly from the manufacturers, but not in the UK. UK buyers have to buy from a distributor, a 'middle man', which is why in the US fabric can be bought and sold much more cheaply than here in the UK.
Janette stocks only top quality fabrics, lots of familiar designers, and has a lovely range of Kona solids too.
She has very kindly given me 10 fqs of Momo Freebird to giveaway, and I'm going to let you choose which ones you'd like.
No. 1 Brown Colourway |
No. 2 Green Colourway |
No. 3 Blue/Orange Colourway |
So here's what you need to do to win, each step is a separate entry:
1. Tell me which 2 bundles you'd like from the numbers above e.g 1 + 3, or 1 + 2.
2. Visit River Fabrics website, check out the gorgeous new England Swings collection and sign up for their newsletter by clicking on(top right hand side of screen). Then come back here and tell me you did.
3. Blog about this giveaway.
This giveaway will run for one week and a randon number generator will draw the winner sometime on Friday 9th September. International entries welcome.

ReplyDeleteI'm loving the look of the Momo Freebird range, my choices would be 1 or 2 the Browns and Green selections. I am fairly new to patchworking and quilting (and I was a sewing avoider for years) but I have been bitten by the bug. I'm now an addict with a fabric stash habit...and it looks like I may have just found another great online resource. Do you do a newsletter or do I have to entangle myself with this blogging lark again?
